The Quakertown Tip Club has a single purpose. The members use the club to
facilitate referring business to one another.
The rules are simple.
- There can be only one of any type of business represented in the Tip Club
(e.g., one insurance agent, one realtor, etc.).
- A club member must be actively doing business in the Quakertown area.
- A club member may represent only one business in the Tip Club. This
increases the networking potential.
- A club member maintains his business's position in the club by attending
meetings.
- If a member receives a profitable tip from another club member, he or she
is expected to make a small donation ($1) to the Tip Club treasury.
- If a club member goes a week without referring business to another club
member, he or she is expected to make a small donation (25¢) to the club
treasury.
The treasury funds are used to print the Tip Club brochure, which contains the
business card information of all active members, and is passed out by club
members whenever referring business to a Tip Club member.
The Tip Club's treasury also is used to fund occasional advertising
events, such as full-page advertisement in the local Penny Power newspaper.
All club members will be listed on this club website.
